A new MMA fight promotion is set to explode in the Middle East as KHK MMA will launch Brave Combat Federation.
Brave 1 will take place in September and will be headlined by the Lebanese destroyer Mohammad Fakhreddine (8-1).
With the recent announcement of Phoenix Fight Championship, and the region’s current combat king Desert Force, Brave will add a whole new dimension to this competitive market, with it being backed by the Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
And the CEO Mohammad Shahid promises that this promotion will be a multicultural fighting arena, which will attract stars from the Middle East, and also beyond. With plans to host event all around the world, Brave aims to put Middle Eastern fighters in the global spotlight alongside international MMA stars.
“Brave’s goal is to unite the world through mixed martial arts, giving people the chance to expose and value their own culture, whilst experiencing others,” he said.
“Brave is about testing your skills, pushing yourself through to your limits and competing at the highest level. Above all, Brave is about people and how everyone is writing their own history, and building their own legacy.”
One man currently writing a strong history for himself is Desert Force star Fakhreddine, who made a name for himself by obliterating his first four opponents in Desert Force.
Since then he has won four out of his last five fights and continues to endear himself to fans with his likeable personality and his attacking style in the cage.
He will be the star attraction for Brave’s first show in September, and is excited by the opportunity to headline this new show, which promises to be a major player in Middle Eastern MMA.
“It’s an honor to headline such a prestigious event and I plan to put on a show for everyone, so don’t miss it,” he said. “When I enter that cage, it doesn’t matter who I fight for, I will attack and go for the finish and this fight will be no different. I thank Alex Sot for giving me this opportunity and I won’t disappoint.”
Brave 1 is scheduled to take place on September 23rd at Khalifa Sports City, in Bahrain.
