Brave president Mohammed Shahid has heaped praise on “special” Mohammad Fakhreddine ahead of his upcoming fight against United States’ Sidney Wheeler at Brave 13, Belfast, Ireland.
Mohammad Fakhreddine is set for a comeback after suffering a loss in what was so far the biggest rivalry in the history of MMA in Middle East. He made it clear that after this battle, he’s going for another run for the Brave CF welterweight title.
His opponent, Sidney Wheeler, is one of the finest US welterweights at Brave CF. Wheeler managed to defeat Pawel Kielek in Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises in Amman, Jordan. The latter who then fought in the 12th edition of Brave Combat Federation in Jakarta, Indonesia defeating the ex-UFC superstar, Mehdi Baghdad by unanimous decision.
During a talk with ArabsMMA, Shahid was fulsome in his praise about all that Fakhreddine is as a fighter. He remarked about him always stepping up to take any challenge in front of him. Mohammed Shahid commented:
“Its a tough fight. Sidney beat the tough Pawel who in turn beat Mehdi Baghdad. So it can’t get tougher than this for Fakhreddine. But that’s Fakhreddine he likes such challenges and always goes head first to face anyone the company puts in front of him.
He is special and one of its kind fighter. We are super lucky to have a guy like him really. He will go and throw the kitchen sink and limbs in that cage.”
