The Lebanese promotion, Cedar Fighting Championship ( Cedar FC ), will have its 4th installment this coming September.
Once and again, the promotion will be giving the chance for several local fighters and fan favorites to compete and showcase their skills.
Headlining the fight card will be the 2016 IMMAF Super heavyweight Gold Medalist, Charbel Diab. With an amateur world title under his belt, Diab will be making his debut in CFC 4 against Egypt’s Mostafa Asker.
In the co-main event, EFC champion Yousif Ghrairi (LEB) will take on Jerry Kvarnström from Finland for the Cedar FC lightweight title.
Mohamed Shaeito, who is the teammate of Ghrairi, both fighting out of Tiger Muay Thai, holds a professional record of 4-2, will also be making his CFC debut. The local favorite is known for his exciting fighting style with his most recent win coming by way of knockout over the Egyptian powerhouse veteran Mahmoud Salama, a fighter who has 7 out of his 14 fight victories won by way of knockout. Shaeito will take on Morroco’s Sallah-Eddine Dekhissi in a middleweight battle. Despite not fighting since 2015, Sallah will be a dangerous opponent , especially if the fight goes to the ground.
That night, Cedar FC bantamweight champion Georges Bardawil (5-1) also the Evolution Championship title holder is set to defend his title for the first time against a foreign opponent who is yet to be determined.
In addition, CFC fans will get to see the comeback of Lebanese standouts “The Bulldozer” Georges Eid, “The Russian” Ramy Hamed, and The number one Lebanese athlete and youth figure Silvio Chiha!
The CFC 4 card will also see a women’s bantamweight bout featuring French fighter Morgane Ribout against Charlyn Guinyang from the Philippines.
