Abdelali Yachou vs. Amir Ismail
Next up we have the Moroccan Abdelali Yachou vs the Egyptian Amir Ismail at light-heavy weight. This one is possibly my pick for fight of the night. It has all the ingredients to make for an explosive encounter! Two big fighters coming off losses looking to make amends!

Abdelali has made it a habit to put on tremendous fights whether he loses or wins. The Moroccan lost in his last showing in Dubai and will try to make amends in his second fight in the UAE!

Amir lost his last fight against Feras Saada in brutal fashion. Before that loss he had put together a strong of KO/TKO’s including one particular highlight where he knocked out Ayyub al-Shemmeri in 12 seconds!

Abdelali’s Jiu-Jistu vs. Amir’s striking. Who do you have on this one?

Amir the first into the cage. Followed by Abdelali who walks out to his signature walk-out music. It almost sounds like something you would expect from a snake sorcerer.

They receive their instructions from Yazzan Ghattas. Abdelali has his game face on! Round 1 here we go!

Round 1: Low kick and combo lands by Amir. Abdelali goes for the take down but ends up grinding Amir against the cage. He jostles for position and uses it for a biig takedown/hop throw. Nice!

Abdelali now in sidemount but Amir holding him close using a head lock. Abdelali delivers short elbows and breaks free of the hold. Abdelali in side mount and delivers short elbows and punches to the body. He spins and ends up in top position. Amir tries to throw him off but Abdelali goes the Armbar! They roll and Amir now in side mount! Wow!

Abdelali rolls Amir over and ends up on top of him! Amir tries to roll again but Abdelali ends up on top of him on his back! He delivers short punches! Amir rolls again and stands! He delivers a short punch! Abdelali pushes him up against the cage again! They break!

Amir goes for the head kick but Abdelali uses it to take hime down! Amir tries to rise, Abdelali tries a standing guillotine!! Abdelali with Amir against the cage. This round has it all!

Amir looking to break free but Abdelali has him up against it tight! Another takedown by Abdelali but he ends up with Amir on top of him! 10 seconds to go! That’s it! Round 1 in the books!

WHAT A ROUND!

Round 2: A nasty low kick by Abdelali lands. He rushes forward into Amirs punch and high kick! He cant do that too often.

Amir with Abdelali against the cage. Abdelali slowly working for the choke but Amir wary to it and pops his head out. Abdelali with Amir against the cage. Abdelali with his long legs manages to deliver a knee to the head of Amir! He tries the take down but he ends up with Amir in his guard! Both fighters now against the cage. Amir doesn’t seem able to work any advantage from this position.

The referee stands them up!

Amir has a nasty cut over his right eye! That thing is bleeding all over the matt! Amir lands two, three, four nasty hooks to start! He has Abdelali rattled! Wow!!!! What a war! Abdelali manages to push him up against the cage and hold him there. That was an awesome come back from Amir! Abdelali attempting the standing guillotine but doesn’t get it. Short knee by Abdelali lands. Short punches follow. He looks like he managed to catch back his breath here.

The referee is in to check on a cut just under Amir’s right eye. Thats the same spot where he had the massive bruising after his fight against Feras Saada

Round 3: It’s on! Round 3, here we go!

They touch gloves. Abdelali rushes Amir and takes him up against the cage. He delivers short knees from this position. Abdelali works for the takedown and gets it! He ends up on top of Amir and delivers a series of unanswered elbows! That’s it! Amir is roooocked!
