Desert Force is back TONIGHT (Monday, February 09, 2015) for Desert Force “15″ at FGB Arena, Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi – UAE. Get your results, live updates and real-time coverage right here of what promises to be one of the largest events in Desert Force.

Lois Cadet vs Serge Saad

What a fight… What a night… We are in for a treat this evening everyone. Desert Force 15 comes back to Abu Dhabi with a monster card ! 12 fights in weight categories ranging from a 63 KG catchweight right up to a heavyweight brawl. The first fight that gets underway is Lois Cadet vs. Serge Saad!

Lois made his Desert Force debut against Rami Aziz and lost by decision against the Iraqi upstart. He did impress though and looked fierce throughout, surprising everyone with his solid grappling game. Tonight he faces Serge Saad, a Lebanese boxer/jiu jitsu fighter who fights out of team Shogun in Lebanon. Lets get this one underway!

Lois out first to “house of the rising sun”

And here come Serge!

Aly Makhzoum and the Shogun crew in his corner! Let’s get this going.

Round 1:Here we go.

They touch gloves. Serge rushes in and gets Lois against the cage looking for a single leg takedown. He gets it and lands in a modified half guard. Short punches by Serge land. He transitions and tries to take Lois back but Lois scrambles and ends up in side mount! They oth trade leg locks attempts! Serge doing a great job of defending Lois’ attempts! Serge now in Lois’ guard. Lois rolls and ends up in full mount! My, my my what a scramble. Serge tries to posture up but Lois uses the opportunity to take the back and is looking for the rear naked choke! One minute here… Can Serge defend it? It looks pretty tight! Serge doing a great job of hanging in there. 10 seconds left! ROund 1 in the books! Damn…. that was a back and forth round! Serge had the better start but Lois threatened with multiple submissions and had back control for almost 2 minutes. 10-9 Lois

Round 2:Round 2 gets underway.

Serge takes the center of the cage and goes for the takedown against the cage again. Lois going for the guillotine but cant get it. Serge doing well to control Lois here. Two, three, four knees from Lois land to the body. Serge still hunting that takedown. Another big knee by Lois landers there to the solar plexus of Serge. Serge gets the takedown and is now in Lois guard against the cage. No real advantage here at the moment by Serge. Lois looks to swing his hips and go for the triangle choke. He seems to have it in pretty tight, 20 seconds remaining here. Serge throws punches to the head but cant quite get it. Thats a close one…

Round 3:Round three. Will we see a finish here?

Serge rushes in but Lois catches him with a strong left jab. Serge goes for the takedown but Lois counters and is in full mount. Lois postures up and delivers strikes from the top! They scramble and Lois attempts an armbar from top against the cage. Serge doing well to stall him. He almost has it! This looks tight! Serge scrambles and ends up in top position against the cage. Lois’ round so far. Serge has to look for the finish here. Serge now in top control and delivers short strikes from up top.

They stand and Lois delivers strikes that stun Serge! Serge looks out on his feet. A big uppercut and overhand land by Lois. A biiig right hand rocks Serve. And another. Serge is one tough fighter! Two big strikes land and this round is in the books.

Mind you, in this fight there really wasnt any loser. Well done to both combatants.
