Abu Dhabi – Rami Hamed made quick work of the Spaniard Victor Monfort, and even got the fastest finish at Desert Force 15.

A hard right sucker punch from Monfort in the opening seconds of the fight had Hamed setting up his own counter dropping the latter and raging with flurry of punches that forced the referee to save Victor Monfort (1-3 MMA, 1-2 Desert Force) only 30 seconds after the opening bell rang.

The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of Desert Force 15 event at FGB Arena, Abu Dhabi. It took part ahead of the main card on MBC Action.

The two had barely gotten going when Hamed leaned for a pre-fight knuckle bump as Monfort charged with his first strike. Hamed unhappy, counters with his own as Monfort backpedaled and caught the worst of the exchange, toppling to the mat. Hamed swarmed, unloading punches on his opponent until the end was made official.

Victor sucker punched me with a straight right that connected well. This gave me an instant boost to finish this fight the way I did. I will continue to Win my fights at Desert Force, I am here to stay.

We said it before , and here it is again! Desert Force welterweight division keeps on building up, one event after another, and Hamed is yet another Lebanese power house from Team Shogun who certainly has a bright future at 77Kg.
