Ali Naemi – Ezzedine Derabane

The fourth fight on this stacked card has Qatari Ali “Amigo“ Al Naemi facing Ezzedine Derabane from Jordan. Ezzedine is the 3rd fighter from Team Altaamari to join.

Round 1: Both fighters in the cage right now. They touch gloves and its on! Ali in the blue corner, Ezzedine in the red. Ali throws a right hook and Ezzedine takes him down, he lands in his guard.

Ezzedine on top but Ali manages to keep him close, referee stands them up. Ezzedine with a high kick follow by a low, picks Ali up and throws him down hard. Ali goes for a heel hook, it’s tight, but Ezz escapes. That was close! Ali is in Ezzedines guard now. Ezzedine setting up a triangle, transitions to an armbar but Ali finds his way out. Round 2:
Big right from Ezzedine missing Ali heads followed by a take down. Ezzedine in Ali’s guard. A scramble and Ezzedine is on the mount. Ali gives him his back. Ezzedine trying to go for a rear naked choke. Ali defending, Ezzedine still controlling the back with Ali smartly defending. WOW. Ezzedine goes for an armbar attempt, but ali regains position. Ali is in Ezzedine’s guard. Referee breaks them again and stands them up. What a referee, surely loves the stand up action.

Ezzedine takes Ali down. Ezzedine working from the guard landing some body shots to Naemi. A short elbow from NAemi as he keeps busy from his back. Ezzedine working hard from the guard delivery some hard shots to Ali’s face. Big leg kicks from Ezzedine seconds before the second round ends. Ezzedine seems to be winning this one.

Round 3: Ezzedine in the center of the cage leads with a right hand followed by a low kick. Ali searching for a good shot, now finding the right timing as Ezzedine circles and lands a low kick followed by a spinning back fist. Ezzdine very comfortable in the third giving it his all. Ali pressing Ezzedine to cage now.

Ezzedine turns this around and drops Ali landing in his guard. Ezzedine stands up, he wants this fight on the feet. Ali takes him down. Ali stands up in the guard but Ezz manages to bring him back down.

Ali goes for a ankle lock again, Ezzedine escapes and lands some of his own. Ezzedine lands some stiff punches from guard, hammers to Ali’s face from the Jordanian. Ezzedine stands up
takes ali’s back again. OHHHH, it’s onnn, the third round ends, and Ezzedine taunts ALi, what a guy! Surely a new power house at lightweight. Decision is out!
