Al Academiya Season 1 welterweight winner, Mohammad Ghorabi, delivered an excellent comeback inside the Desert Force cage as he looked to score a TKO victory in his home country and along the support of his home crowd fans.
Desert Force’s 18th event took place on the 17th of August 2015 at the Hikmeh Stadium in Ghazir, Lebanon, and the fight aired live on MBC Action.
The Lebanese favorite, Ghorabi, made a strong come-back after his last loss inside the Desert Force cage, with an impressive first round TKO victory over Al Batal finalist, Mikkis from Morocco.
Mikkis made a good professional debut, landing several jabs and managing to stay away from Ghorabi’s power. Though he did his homework, Ghorabi overwhelmed Mikkis after he landed a good right hand that dropped his opponent and kept pounding for the TKO finish.

I did my best to win and please the fans after my last defeat. Mohamad Ghorabi will hopefully never lose again. Youness is a very professional fighter, but we prepared well for the fight, and had our game plan all set at Team Shogun.
