Another powerful bout, this time at light-heavyweight has been added to Phoenix FC 6, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi. Desert Force light-heavyweight Champion Ossama El Seady will meet undefeated fighter Sami Antar.

Ossama El Seady (7-1-0) became the Desert Force light-heavyweight Champion in late 2016 by scoring a hard earned and gutted TKO victory in the 2nd round over Mostafa Rashed, the man who had formerly defeated him via split decision. The bad blood between El Seady and Rashed made for the amazing rematch that was full of back and forth action, and perhaps one of the wildest fights that the Arab fans have seen. El Seady has been inactive since 2016, but now, the Arab fans will once again get the chance to see one of their favorite fighters in actions at Phoenix 6.

Notable for making a lot of noise on social media over his rivalry with Mohammad Karaki, it’s been quite a while since Sami Antar (3-0-0) entered the cage, 5 years that matter! Since 2012, Antar has been repetitively plagued by injuries. However, Antar has now finally recovered and is ready for a fight, so who better than El Seady to welcome him back into the world of Mixed Martial Arts competition?
