Egyptian Fighting Championship returns on February 13 for its 19th installment at the Cairo University Boxing Ring. The event will be headlined by an international main event pitting Russian middleweight Vladimir Fedin (3-3) versus the one and only Sherif Mohammad.
The Egyptian promotion has almost brought 20 events to life so far, and it seems life EFC management have big plans in the works for 2015.
ArabsMMA had the chance to sit and talk with EFC’s coach Khalid Abdel Hamid, a face now very popular on the Desert Force scenes as well:
“I would like to thank our fans who have been around, supporting our fighters and attending our events from the beginning. I would also like to thank ArabsMMA for the coverage they do for our events. We have realized our potential and we have managed to produce some of the finest fighters in the Arab world and we will continue to do so Insha’ Allah.
EFC 19 will be a soft entry to what’s coming next! EFC is becoming bigger and our plans for 2015 will amaze everyone on the local and regional scene.
Vladimir is a very tough fighter, I have seen him in Russia and this guy can bang! I don’t know how this fight will go, but I can assure you it will be a violent match up. Sherif is hungry to face another Russian, after coming short in his previous fight against Ramazanov.”
Stay tuned for more on EFC 19!
