SFL 15 will take place on April 12, 2013 in Mumbai India featuring a Welterweight faceoff between Mohamad Ramdan (1-0) from Egypt Vs Michael “Venom” page (4-0) one of UK’s top upcoming fighters. Mohamad won his latest fight in February 12 at EFC 9, an Egyptian promotion which is now referred to as Evolution Fighting Championship. Ramdan finished his opponent Via TKO just 38 seconds into the first round.
Impressive finish no doubt, But is that enough to face someone at Michael Page’s level?
Page won his last fight on March 21 at Bellator 93 finishing Ryan Sanders with a vicious KO (punch), 10 second into the start of the fight. Add to that, 2 TKO victories and one submission all in the first round! Fans consider this to be an easy fight for Michael, just another KO win to his undefeated record! But keep in mind, Ramdan will enter this fight as an underdog, he has nothing to lose and will be looking to upset all the doubters !
Another Egyptian Top Team fighter, Mona Monir (1-1), will be facing Manjit Kolekar (2-0), a local and a fan favorite for this bout. Manjit Kolebar was supposed to face Egyptian Top Team top level striker Aya Saeid “Sheklsa” Saber (1-2) in SLF which took place last week in India, but the bout was cancelled due to injury. Will Mona be able to outstrike the Indian in this Flyweight match up?
