After bagging their belts at Cedar FC 2, Lebanese fighters Georges Bardawil and Mark Tanios are officially booked for the inaugural event of European Beatdown championship in Belgium.
European Beatdown 1 takes place on December 3, 2016, at Mons Arena in Belgium. Besides, the event will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between Nelson Carvalho (9-3-0) and UFC veteran Efrain Escudero (25-11-0) from the United States.
Georges Bardawil and Mark Tanios earned the bantamweight and heavyweight titles respectively at the Cedar Fighting Championship 2 event, which went underway last Saturday in Beirut.
On December 3, Bardawil will square off against French opponent Peter Ligier (5-1-1). The Lebanese standout is now riding a 4 fight winning streak, and he will be surely looking to score his 5th consecutive victory.
On the other hand, his colleague at Tristar Gym Lebanon, Mark Tanios, will be facing Dritan Barjamaj (11-8-0) from Austria. Tanios has kept himself active over the past months, avenging his loss at SHC 11 in Switzerland, and even participating in Japan’s Rizin FF before earning the Cedar FC heavyweight belt.
