Two undefeated light-heavyweights will go toe-to-toe at Brave 2: Dynasty in an historic match-up in Bahrain on December 2nd.
This will be the first light-heavyweight fight on a Brave card and the two fighters are stars in their own right, Amit Thapa (3-0) and Ben “The Spider Monkey” Forsyth (2-0) both come with huge credentials. This one should be a classic.
Thapa hails from India and cut his cloth in Super Fight League, winning all three professional fights impressively in the first round.
He is a star in his nation and is built like a superhero, fights like one too winning two via devastating knockout and one via submission.
Forsyth fights out of SBG Ireland gym and will be their third fighter to attempt victory at Brave, following defeats of Frans Mlambo and Kevin Koldobsky at Brave 1.
SBG Ireland were made famous for producing superstar Conor Mcgregor, who is a current champion in the UFC, however they have so-far failed to produce a superstar to emulate his success and they will be hoping it’s third time lucky at Brave 2 “Dynasty”.
Forsyth comes with top amateur credentials having secured a gold medal at the IMMAF European Open in 2015.
The IMMAF are the only truly recognized amateur MMA organization and their tournaments feature the highest caliber amateur MMA fighters on the planet.
However transferring amateur credentials to the big stage is not always cut and dry, and we’re about to find out at Brave 2 if “The Spider Monkey” is able to do just that.
Brave 2: Dynasty takes place at Khalifa Sports Center in Bahrain on December 2nd and will be headlined by Masio Fullen v Alan Omer, fighting for the Featherweight title in Brave’s first ever title fight.
Tickets are on sale now via www.bravefights.com and at selected outlets throughout Bahrain.
