Two fights have been scrapped so far from Desert Force 17 fight card taking place on the 25th of this month at the King Hussein Boxing Arena in Amman.
Ahmad Saeb Vs Yousef Zoughbaba and Mohamed Ali Vs Mehdi Hassan could very well not happen. Yet one of these two fights might be saved just 4 days before fight night!
In a recent facebook post from Georges Eid’s official facebook page, Eid mentioned that he is ready to take this fight on short notice, stepping in and welcoming the Jordanian to the Desert Force welterweight division.
I've been training all year long. Hard luck to Ahmed Saeb, but I'm ready to welcome Yousef Zoughbaba or anyone to Desert…

After Zoughbaba’s original opponent, Ahmed Saeb was forced from the event with an injury, many speculated whether Zoughbaba himself would remain on the card.
A matchup with Tristar Lebanon’s George Eid will could very well allow Team Al Taamari fighter to make his debut in his hometown.
Eid has won three of his last five fights under the Desert Force banner, including victories over Ahmed Saeb and Lawin Mustafa. His latest win over Saeb came on the form of a 3 round one sided beating
If Desert Force officials choose to save this fight and include Eid, this card could very well blow up! A super stacked card will treat the MMA fans in Amman, Jordan with fighters such as Mohammad Fakhreddine, Tarek Suleiman, Abdulkareem Alselwady and many more.
