The 2015 IMMAF World Championship, taking place during the 4th Annual UFC International Fight Week, closed its doors on day 2 [Tuesday, July 7 2015] at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
After winning his first fight against Germany’s Daniel Mullet Keith via a unanimous decision victory scoring 30-27 on all three rounds, Imad “Caveman” Hoayek was set to fight Dante Jackson from New Zealand.
Hoayek came in with nothing but victory on his mind. As the referee made it official, Hoayek went in for the takedown in the first round and sunk in a deep rear naked choke 1 minute into the first round.
With this, Imad moves one step closer to the gold medal as he advances to the semi-finals where he will face Brendan ALLEN from the United States.
Imad’s teammate Joeshwa Mortada also emerged victorious today, earning a well deserved unanimous decision win over Ciaran Breslin from team Northern Ireland.
