The 2015 IMMAF World Championship, taking place during the 4th Annual UFC International Fight Week, closed its doors on day 2 [Tuesday, July 7 2015] at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
After finishing his first fight via an early first round TKO, Joeshwa Mortada from Team Lebanon returned on the second of IMMAF competition to raise the Lebanese flag and advance to the quarter finals!
Today he earned a well deserved unanimous decision win over Ciaran Breslin from team Northern Ireland, pushing him one step closer to secure a medal at the International Mixed Martial Arts World Championship.
Mortada controlled the fight with his aggressive cage dominance throughout all three rounds, spicing it up with some submission attempts and ending with a fury of punches from top before the bell saved his opponent. Joeshwa will be facing Team Poland’s Kacper Formela next, before going to the semi-finals.
