Team Lebanon’s Imad Howayek managed to shock the world with a second round TKO victory over Swedish opponent Senad Hasic in a middleweight match up. In the straw-weight division, Rachel Abou Abdallah got promoted to the finals in one of the opening fights of the championship since her opponent failed to show up for the medical test.
Mohamed “Trella” Yakzan was unfortunate at heavyweight against Joao Mimoso From The United States, Yakzan was doing a great job, sadly enough he seemed to have run out of gas.

The five-day IMMAF World Championships started at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) inside the Cox Pavilion on Monday, June 30. For the World Championship finals, which take place Saturday, July 5, the IMMAF takes center stage at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center as part of the UFC Fan Expo. Athletes in their respective weight classes will enter the world famous eight-sided MMA ring to win the first-ever IMMAF gold medal.
