BRAVE Combat Federation will mark the return of India’s Mohd Farhad who is the only fighter from the nation with a reputable career with a sheer 92% TKO record. Farhad is on a three-fight winning streak and will face the undefeated Maysara Mohamed from Egypt at BRAVE CF 57 taking place in Bahrain.
While his opponent is on a five-fight winning streak, Farhad packed his firepower with vast training experience even heading to Dagestan, Russia to train alongside legendary names including Zabit Magomedsharipov Riding a three-fight winning streak Farhad is on the path to becoming the fire-ever Indian bantamweight title contender at BRAVE Combat Federation. His only defeat in the promotion comes against the current bantamweight title-contender, Hamza Kooheji from Bahrain who trains at the KHK MMA fight team.
Farhad made his debut in the promotion at BRAVE CF 5 held in Mumbai, India in April 2015. During the press conference held in Bahrain, the Indian bantamweight predicted a knockout finish while it is clear that he will be packing a high wrestling edge.
The fight will be crucial for Farhad since he is the only Indian fighter to represent the nation in a global MMA promotion in 2022 with others including Kantaraj Agasa and Ritu Phogat competing in ONE Championship.
BRAVE CF 57 will be headlined by three title fights. Hamza Kooheji will face Brad Katona for the vacant Bantamweight title while Middleweight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine is going for double-champion against Mohamed Said Maalem. Lastly, former Lightweight champion Amin Ayoub will be taking on Abdisalam Kubanychbek for the interim 155-pound strap.
