It’s Showtime! 3 Lebanese Athletes Will Hit IMMAF in Las Vegas!


UFC 175 won’t be the only event to host world title bouts in Las Vegas this week. The first ever Amateur MMA World Championship will be hosted by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) starting today June 30 through July 5.

The brackets have been made and three of the Lebanese national team athletes will enter the MMA ring today June 30 for their first of many fights happening in this World Championship.

In the straw-weight division, Rachel Abou Abdallah will be facing Tajikistan’s Zuhro in one of the opening fights of the championship (Cage B).

In the Heavyweight Division, Mohamed “Trella” Yakzan will face Joao Mimoso From The United States in what promises to be a clash of the Titans.

Last But not least, Imad Howayek will face his Swedish opponent, Senad Hasic in a middleweight match up.
