Jarrah Al Selawi (8-2) has culminated 10 glorious fights in his professional MMA career and there is no doubt that he is one of the most elite Arab fighters out there. After making his debut in Brave 2 and seeing the significant impact this new promotion is making, Al Selawi is ensuring he’s always one step ahead.
Brave made history in 2016 with its two inaugural events, and is gearing up for another year of unprecedented MMA success. In his first battle at Brave CF this December, Al Selawi scored a huge submission victory using his favorite Kimura technique against Erik Carlsson.
If you’ve been following Jarrah on social media, you probably would have noticed that the “Jordanian Lion” is hard at work training for his next task with Brave Combat Federation.
Al Selawi, who is peculiarly much more active on social media, has been regularly posting sweat-drenched photos and videos of his training sessions with the look of a man determined to make a statement in the promotion. There is no news yet on which Brave event Jarrah will have a slot in, but if it’s not Abu Dhabi, then it’s India for sure. His training looks sharp and vigorous for something happening soon. When asked about Mohammad Fakhreddine’s latest statement regarding title fight, Jarrah said:
“Fakhreddine and I are on the same path, I am sure we will meet again” “I am not into the name calling trend, they want the title and I want that shot too. Whoever stands in my way, I will fight him. I will not ask who will be my opponent, I will face whoever blocks my path. Fakhreddine asked for the title shot, and I want the title, at this point in my career I am readier than ever.”
