Joeshwa Mortada | My Long Awaited Debut Will Be Big

Joeshwa Mortada insists he is in confident mood and excited before his long-awaited professional MMA bout this December at Phoenix Fighting Championship 1.

The IMMAF Bronze Medalist, Joeshwa Mortada, squares off against fellow Lebanese opponent Bachir Yammine (1-1-0) after enjoying a decorated amateur career spanning four years.

After racking up 6 wins and only 2 losses in his amateur career, the 26-year-old feels he is more than ready to make step up to the pro ranks.

And with the big moment fast approaching, Mortada is determined to keep focused on his opponent and his training.

He told ArabsMMA following the Phoenix 1 press conference in Beirut:

“It’s a dream come true. I was very excited to see a card which includes big names, the likes of Buakaw Banchamek. My long-awaited pro debut is going to be big!”

On his opponent, Joeshwa Mortada said:

“My opponent is a Sanda and Kung-Fu champion. He’s a very well known striker, and a good wrestler as well.

I will be fully prepared, and however the fight goes I will be ready.”
