Kyrgyzstan has redefined the landscape of MMA with high calibre fighters decorating the cream of the rankings in most global MMA organizations. Valentina Shevchenko, Nemat Abdrashitov, Abidisalam Uulu Kubanychbek, Myktybek Orolbai, and many more had elevated the sport globally. Nemat “Eagle” Abdrashitov (19-8-0) will be making his return to defend his featherweight world championship title at BRAVE CF 85 held during the BRAVE International Combat Week 2024.

BRAVE CF 85 will take place in Lahore, Pakistan, on August 18. The event marks BRAVE Combat Federation’s return to Pakistan after BRAVE CF 17 in 2018. BRAVE CF has announced to host 6 global events in 70 days across Europe and Asia. The featherweight from Kyrgyzstan has made an impact in the promotion after defeating Roman Bogatov by way of unanimous decision at BRAVE CF 72. Most likely, he will be facing the Featherweight championship title contender, Omar Solomanov (12-2-0) from Ukraine. Solomanov is fresh from a unanimous victory against Ilyar Askhanov at BRAVE CF 71.

Kyrgyzstan to set a new record

Defending the title successfully will cement reign of two champions from Kyrgyzstan at BRAVE CF. The feat will be a record as it will be for the first time two MMA fighters from the nation has ascended the top of a global MMA promotion and retaining their titles. Apart from BRAVE CF 85, the International Combat Week will also showcase the 2024 IMMAF Asian Championships. This event will take place during BRAVE International Combat Week from August 18 to 22 in Lahore, Pakistan.

Partnership with IMMAF

The action kicks off with BRAVE CF 85 on August 18. This marks the return of BRAVE Combat Federation to Pakistan after nearly six years. Top MMA fighters from around the world will compete, underscoring BRAVE CF’s reputation as a global MMA organization. Following this, the IMMAF Asian Championships will run from August 18 to 22. This is the first time Pakistan will host these championships, marking a significant milestone for MMA in the country and the region.

August is a busy month for IMMAF. The 2024 IMMAF Youth World Championships will take place in Abu Dhabi from August 6 to 10. After the Asian Championships, IMMAF will host the 2024 Pan American Championships in Mexico from August 31 to September 7.
