Lebanon welcomes this weekend [Saturday October 31, 2015] International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) founder August Wallén who will be hosting an MMA seminar at the infamous Tristar Gym.
August Wallén is the first President of the International MMA Federation and was recently awarded title of honorary president at the IMMAF’s first General Assembly. He is a pioneer in Martial Arts with his MMA journey beginning 20 years ago. Wallén is a pro-MMA fighter (8-1), BJJ black belt under Roy Harris and head instructor Shooters MMA Fight Team.
The seminar will be held at Tristar, Mtayleb Country Club located in Mount Lebanon from 4pm to 7pm.
That’s not all folks! August Wallén’s MMA seminar will be followed by the opening of the IMMAF office in Lebanon, marking another milestone in the local mixed martial arts scene. Nothing greater than seeing MMA communities coming together at grass roots level; dedicating their own time, passion and hard work to making the sport they love safer and to protect its participants.
