Loik Radzhabov emerged victorious over Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady. This transpired in the final frame of their bout at UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Gaziev.

The Tajikistan native earned his second UFC victory overall. He returned to the win column at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 2nd. Radzhabov had previously lost to Mateusz Rębecki via an overhand left. That strike came roughly halfway through the second stanza of their UFC on ABC 5 clash last June.

The 33-year-old connected on a right hook and followed up with strikes to the grounded Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady. The stoppage went down at the forty-nine-second mark of round number three.

‘The Tajik Tank’ showed out on the preliminary portion of the event and looks to keep rising the ranks at 155 pounds with this W. Radzhabov improved his overall professional mixed martial arts record to 18-5-1 with this recent victory.

Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady was making his official UFC debut here after earning a contract on Contender Series last August. Al-Selwady had punched his ticket to the octagon with a unanimous decision win over George Hardwick.

The Palestine native had a five-fight winning streak snapped here and the former Fury FC lightweight champion will have to go back to the proverbial drawing board after this setback. The former Brave CF lightweight titleholder and Desert FC featherweight champion has now been finished with strikes in all of his pro-MMA defeats so far.

The 28-year-old now has an overall professional mixed martial arts record of 15-4 after this loss.

‘Pride Of Palestine’ took on a former multi-season PFL veteran here in Radzhabov. The two also represent some of the more prominent gyms within the world of mixed martial arts with Radzhabov representing Kill Cliff FC while Al-Selwady is a Fortis MMA product.

The two men kicked off the ESPN+ broadcasted card in style and many within the mixed martial arts community will excitedly await the next steps in the careers of both of these warriors.
