Mahmoud Sebie scored another impressive victory at BRAVE CF 69. The Egyptian fighter finished Muhhamed Kir Ahmet in just 38 seconds.
Mahmoud Sebie vs. Muhhamed Kir Ahmet
‘Prince of Egypt’ almost immediately took the fight to the ground. There he secured the top position and started to punch his opponent. The lack of intelligent defense from Ahmet forced the referee to step in and stop the fight after 38 seconds. This was Sebie’s second TKO finish in the BRAVE CF cage. He’s unbeaten in the promotion and now sports a 5 – 2 professional MMA record. All of his five victories are first-round TKO/KO finishes.
The MMA career of ‘Prince of Egypt’
The Egyptian fighter has impressive amateur wrestling credentials. He’s a 4-time Arab champion, 5-time Africa champion, and Africa cup gold medalist amongst other accomplishments. He also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics games. However, the pandemic postponed the 2020 Olympics games, which convinced Sebie to retire from wrestling.
After retiring from wrestling he followed his friend’s advice and switched to mixed martial arts. Sebie made his MMA debut back in 2021. At XMMA 1 he stopped Jarell Murry. This first-round finish was followed by another two KO wins. With a three-fight winning streak, the Egyptian fighter left the regional circuit behind and made his Bellator debut. However, this time he found himself on the receiving end of Ethan Hughes’ punches.
After tasting his first defeat Sebie made his only Professional Fighters League appearance. At PFL 7 he was TKO’d by Itso Babulaidze.
He put an end to this two-fight losing streak in his BRAVE CF debut by defeating Wajdi Missaoui. Now he’s in process of stacking up another winning streak. The Middle East promotion is a step up in the competition for him. And if he keeps winning in so dominating fashion against tough opposition, we could see him in the UFC in near future.
