A lightweight bout between Meshaal Al Khuzeem (4-0 MMA, 1-0 Desert Force) and Mohamad Trigui (3-0 Desert Force) is the latest addition to March’s Desert Force lineup. Desert Force will be looking for their second successful event on KSA soil!
Desert Force 16 takes place March 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event airs Live on MBC Action following early prelims.
Al Khuzeem, a Saudi-Filipino fighter, opened his career with 3 consecutive victories, all via stoppage. He then earned a submission victory at Desert Force 14 in his promotional debut. His fight against Ammar Tchalabi almost went the wrong way yet Al Khuzeem had the crowds support and made an impossible comeback to finish his opponent early in the second round. This time he fights at a lighter division and will face Morocco’s Mohammad Trigui.
Trigui, meanwhile, was eyeing a title shot. That was a no-go with Desert Force officials. He opened his professional career with a win over Ahmed Al Bossairy, moved to a submission win over Hassan Badawi (10-1) and earned his third win over Silvester Saba. This man has faced fighters with a much bigger resume. A win over Meshaal could secure him a shot at the winner between Gari Vs Hamdi.
