Mohamed Ramdane takes on Anthony Laurent in the opening bout of the Ares FC 10 fight card. It will take place on December 8 at Le Dôme de Paris – Palais des Sports in Paris, France. The event will air on the UFC Fight Pass streaming platform.
Mohamed Ramdane vs. Anthony Laurent
The Algerian fighter has a 4 – 1 professional MMA record. He harnessed his fighting skills on the French regional MMA circuit. Ramdane started his career stacking up a four-fight winning streak. However, the series was ended by Sebastien Di Franco at European Beatdown 5. The Belgium fighter stopped Mohamed Ramdane in the second round with his strikes. Now the time has come for the Algerian to make his Ares FC debut.
Unlike his opponent, Laurent gained his first mixed martial arts experience on the amateur circuit. As an amateur, he sports a 1 – 1 record with a TKO victory and a decision loss. As a professional fighter, he made a successful debut back in June. At MMA Showtime 1 he was awarded a decision win over Kévin Vegneville.
Mohamed Ramdane vs. Anthony Laurent – who will win the fight?
Due to both fighters being in the early stages of their respective careers, making a decisive prediction is quite difficult. Ramdane has an advantage in fighting experience, even when taking Laurent’s amateur bouts into the consideration. It’s easy to put him in the role of the favorite just based on that. On the other hand, little is known about the quality of his opposition. The most possible scenario is a decision win for Ramdane. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClwBGrijDOa/
Other Algerian fighters on the fight card
Mohamed Ramdane is not the only Algerian scheduled to fight at Ares FC 10. Two other country representatives also will be in the action. Assia Miri will take on the Italian fighter, Fabiola Pidroni, and Moustapha Aida will square off against Demerte Pena.
