Injury Forces Mohammad Sayyah Out Of Desert Force 23 Clash Against Tarek Suleiman

Tarek Suleiman will not be fighting Mohammad Sayyah this month after the Algerian pulled out of their highly anticipated Desert Force showdown with a rib injury.

Less than 2 weeks before the Desert Force 23 event in Lebanon, a rib injury sustained during training has forced welterweight contender Mohammad Sayyah out his scheduled bout against Tarek Suleiman.

This is the third injury to hit the Desert Force 23 fight card, with Ramy Hamed pulling out last week, followed by Ghorabi’s initial opponent Ange Lossa.

As fresh as this new is, there is no word yet as to whether the fight will be scrapped or a replacement will be found for Tarek.

Sayyah approached ArabsMMA to detail the reason behind pulling out:

“I have torn a muscle around the rib cage area while training in Sweden. I have contacted Taher Hamdan informing him that I won’t be able to fight on May 30. I prepared a lot for this fight, and it feels awful not being able to compete.”

14 days till fight night, and the fight card is still stacked and boiling. Let’s hope no other upsets strike Desert Force 23, as it will be a night to remember no doubt!
