Muhidin Abubakar wins interim title; Tanner Boser, Romero Cotton notch finishes at UAE Warriors 60

Abu Dhabi – UAE Warriors 60 capped off the promotion’s double-header weekend at Space42 Arena with an international showcase that delivered finishes, prospects on the rise, and a new interim champion at flyweight.

In the main event, Muhidin Abubakar (13-2) edged out Victor Nunes (11-3) via split decision after five competitive rounds to claim the interim UAE Warriors flyweight title. Abubakar showcased his pace and composure against the dangerous Brazilian to secure gold in a back-and-forth contest.

Former UFC heavyweight Tanner Boser (21-10-1) made a successful promotional debut in the co-main event, stopping Vinicius Moreira (10-7) by TKO (retirement) after Round 3. Boser mixed in calf kicks, pressure, and volume striking before Moreira’s corner called it off between rounds.

Romero Cotton (7-1), a former Bellator standout, also made a strong impression in his UAE Warriors debut. He earned a third-round TKO over Marcos Santana (6-3) after his opponent failed to answer the bell for the final round.

Elsewhere on the card, rising talents from across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East secured emphatic wins. Rafik-Bek Omarov landed a crushing body shot KO over Feng Senwei in Round 3, while Magomed Tuchalov, Martun Mezhlumyan, and Sukhrobbek Atazhanov all picked up submission wins.
