Cage Warriors Fight Night 10 took place yesterday, Friday 28 at King Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan.
The event featured a handful of stoppage victories in its amateur card as well as in its professional lineup. Yet the most impressive and the fastest that night was in the middleweight headliner Abu Azaiter Vs Mashman.
Moroccan Abu Azaitar (9-2), entered as the crowd favorite in Amman and went all in seconds after the bell rang with a barrage of punches at Cage Warriors newcomer Jack Marshman (14-5). Less than a minute into the first round, and to be precise, 34 seconds into the fight, the Moroccan-German fighter bulldozed his way to an impressive TKO stoppage.
Both fighters came out swinging in the event’s headliner, but Azaitar lowered his head and threw a quick of barrage of blows while pushing forward. A crisp left dropped Marshman, and Azaitar immediately pounced with a series of follow-up blows.
Marshman was obviously dazed, and Azaitar’s assault quickly forced the referee’s intervention.
“I am very happy,” the fighter said after the performance, which marked his fourth straight knockout win. “I prepared for a strong guy, a very strong puncher.”
An exceptional night in Amman with a purely Arab amateur card followed 4 Arab fighters competing as professionals got the crowd crazy like never before. Another successful event for Cage Warriors Fighting Championship on Arab soil! What’s next for the promotion and the fighters?
