Phoenix outspoken light-heavyweight contender, Sami Antar, seems to be setting up some early and probably unwanted retirement plans for the current Phoenix light-heavyweight champion, Moise Rimbon.
After his recent submission victory at Phoenix 6 over Osama Elseady in the 2nd round, Sami Antar proved that he can easily back up his trash talking with his in cage fighting ability. Earning the impressive win over a relatively ranked opponent, Antar senses that he’s next in line for a title shot against the current Phoenix champion. With that in mind, the confident Antar has already shared a post on his social media account challenging the light-heavyweight champ for a fight and inviting all the Phoenix fans to witness him slap Rimbon and send the mixed martial arts veteran on an early farewell retirement party.
“You are hereby invited to the retirement party of Moise “The Smelly Swamp” Rimbon! The festivities will take place at Phoenix Dubai, under the guidance of your host Sami “The Savage” Antar! Sami will present Moise with the Golden Handshake to the face! Come one come all!!!”
Phoenix president, Mr. Chahe Yerevanian, also shared a post on his social media account, announcing the possibility of this fight actually happening in the very near future!

To heat things up even more, the Phoenix light-heavyweight champion who, who is also known for outspoken personality and thus far undefeated inside the Phoenix cage with 3 straight submission finishes, replied to Mr. Yerevanian’s post. Of course, Rimbon’s reply targeted his potential opponent, accepting his challenge and promising to beat him into Parkinson’s disease!

The fight has not yet been officially announced, but it looks like it’s in the making. It would make for an amazing match up between two trash talkers who the fans know can back it up inside the Phoenix cage.
