Arabs MMA has learned through sources close to the show that filming is close to finishing for the second season of Al Batal on Fox Movies premiering this fall!
Promoted by one of Abu Dhabi’s premier production companies Isee Entertainment, this edition features prominent Industry leaders such as FORD MIDDLE EAST and FOX, as cooperate sponsors to bring a TRULY INTERNATIONAL cast of competitors and coaches.
Featuring the top LW and MW in the Arab MMA world, the ALL ARABB competitors of Season 2 Al Batal, features the WORLD’S BEST with fighters flown in from as far as the USA, Canada, Sweden, and France, for the opportunity to represent their native countries of the GULF.
The fighters complete FORD TOUGH challenges and compete against one another in 2 round 5 minute fights for cash and prizes and the goal of being crowned AL BATAL SEASON 2 CHAMPION.

K1 France Champion Medi Baghadad French Algerian fighter now based in California after years of living at Team Nogueira brazail is currently representing Team Quest Temecula Baghdad has won 5 fights in a row and is currently 9-3 overall and is rumored to be signing a contract with a major organization soon.
Assistant coach
Jorge Lopez is a 3x UFC veteran who currently lives and trains in Las Vegas California, largely considered the home of combat sports. A professional since 2005, Lopez holds wins over top prospects Waachiim Spiritwolf, Chidi Njokuani, and Brent Cooper. Transitioning from College wrestling into Wanderlia Silva’s famed ChuteBox gym this grappler turned striker holds a professional 11-4 record.
Cedric Escuder is a 7x French Karate Black Belt who is currently Undefeated in MMA. A standout in the pointfighting systems of Karate, Escuder is one of the few to have successfully transitioned into MMA.
Team Elbe
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Ray Elbe has traveled the world competing. a 4x MMA Champion he has won 8 out of his last 10 professional MMA fights and is 25-11 overall. Now based in Kuwait at the upstart Combat Athletics facility, Elbe is largely recognized as the founder of the MMA department at the Tiger Muay Thai facility in Phuket.

European Muay Thai Champion Ole Laursen is a veteran of over 60 Muay Thai and K1 fights. A winner of the world’s most prestigious Muay Thai tournament, The King’s Cup, an event held in honor of the King’s Birthday in Thailand, Ole transitioned into K-1 facing such legends as Masato, Giorgio Petrosyan, Andy Souwer, and Buakaw. Branching into MMA Ole Laursen holds a BJJ Purple Belt under Ray Elbe and has a pro record of 6-4 with bouts against Genki Sudo, Caol Uno, Eduard Folayang, and Joe Ray on his record. Owner of the Legacy Gym Ole Laursen has a facility in Ubon Thailand and the tropical holiday island of Boracy Philippines.
Ajarn KhunSuek
KhunSuek Thanikul Gym is a veteran of over 300 professional Muay Thai fights. Having his first bout at the age of 6 he has competed with Knees, Elbows, Kicks, and Punches for two thirds of his life. Formerly ranked in the top 10 at historic Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, Ajarn KhunSuek has traveled the world with Muay Thai teaching and fighting abroad in countries like; Canada, Budapest, England, and Hong Kong, Most recently head of training at Windy’s Pattaya, this former Tiger Muay Thai instructor is now head of Muay Thai at Kuwait Combat Athletics.
