Tahar Hadbi Likely to Face Fakhreddine at Brave 9; Unconfirmed

Brave Combat Federation’s new released trailer has made plenty of social media buzz in the regional as well as the international mixed martial arts community. The trailer showed several big name fighters who could possibly have a place competing on this card, not to mention that Brave 9: “The Kingdom of Champions” will hold multiple title fights.

Among the fighters seen in the trailer is the Lebanese mixed martial arts welterweight superstar, Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine, who was scheduled for a title fight at Brave CF 8 against Carl Booth, but had to pull out due to health related issues.

With an impressive record of 10 wins and only 1 loss, Fakhreddine has shown to be a well-rounded mixed martial artist who is able to win fights by KO, TKO, submission or decision. The former Desert Force middleweight champion is comfortable wherever the fight goes and is currently on a 6 fight winning streak. Fakhreddine made his Brave debut at Brave 4, scoring a TKO victory against the Brazilian Marcus Vinicius, then fought at Brave 6 against the Polish Lukasz Witos, also winning by TKO.

If Fakhreddine is able to grab yet another win at Brave, he will undeniably score another shot at the Brave Combat Federation welterweight strap.

However, who will he possibly face next?

How about Tahar Hadbi?

Hadbi has already called out Fakhreddine on social media and smashed him in a clip he sent to ArabsMMA. This guy could be a great match-up and can give Fakhreddine a serious run for his money.

Holding a professional record of 13 wins and 6 loses, the Algerian is on a 3 fight winning streak. Having finished many his fights via TKO, Hadbi is a mixed martial arts veteran who could be next in line for a welterweight title shot if he is able to break Fakhreddine’s momentum and hand him his first lost in a very long time.

If this fight were to happen, it will be one of the largest and most anticipated fights at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions to take place at Khalifa Sports City on the 17th on November 2017.
Stay tuned to find out more.
