Al Academiya Lightweight finalist Tareq Hamde, has recently been spotted in Egypt as he gets ready for the most difficult and important fight in his Mixed Martial Arts career. For the Jordanian, it’s all or nothing this January!
The stars aligned to get Tareq to where he is today. After losing his place in the Al Academiya house before stepping foot in it, he was brought back as a wild card to replace an injured fighter. He then beat Sivester Saba in the semi-finals and took a step closer to making his dream come true.
Hamde is currently in Egypt and has joined his fellow Al Academiya contestant, Mahmoud Saeed, and MMA veteran Mohamed Ali Felx for an intense training camp as he gets ready to put it all on the line on the 27th of January.
Some would question why Tareq would go all the way to Egypt to train but with Felx and Saeed by his side, it could prove to be the perfect choice.
Mohamed Felx fights for Cage Warriors and has proved day after day that his striking and grappling ability are superior to all Light Heavyweights in the region He got there with little or no support which Hamde can relate to. Hamde surely chose his training environment correctly as he physically and mentally prepares himself for the Al Academiya Finale.
