Desert Force Bahrain is at the doors! One week till the big event hits Manama and treats all the MMA fans with an exciting event like never before. The co-main event of the evening will witness Amr wahmann, the egyptian who shocked the crowd after submitting Team Nogueira’s Victor Monfort in the first round at Desert Force Al Academiya Finale.
He will now face Victor’s team mate Mounir Lazzez in breath taking matchup on march the 7th at Khalifa Sports City Arena, Bahrain.
MBC action visited Team Nogueira Dubai and had the chance to interview the owner Elias Azzam to get his view on the next fight.
I always appreciate an exciting fight! It doesn’t matter if the fight ends in the first or third round as long as the crowd and the fans are happy. The most important thing is that Mounir gets his hand raised at the end. I hope it ends by KO. I actually believe it will be a knockout victory!
Victor Monfort was also around and had a few things to say about his friends/training partner’s upcoming fight against the man who beat him in his latest Desert Force appearence.
This is a very important fight for me, just the timing of those fights is special! Anas Siraj Mounir defeated Ali ahli , then came Mounir Lazzez to set things straight, and again i lost an important fight against Amr wahmann, and here is Lazzez again ready to take care of business and get the W for the team. We are like brothers, I just feel this way.
So here you have it! Seems like a Cinderella story just made its way to the Desert Force cage. The whole team is counting on Lazzez to finish this fight and set the record straight. So better watch out, mess with Team Nogueira and Lazzez will come for you!
