After having had 2 successful fights at Brave Combat Federation, “The Jordanian Lion” Jarrah Al-Selawi is looking to make it 3 in a row and be next in line for a welterweight title shot.

With his first victory coming at Brave CF 2: Dynasty against Erik Carlsson from Sweden via his favorite kimura submission and his 2nd fight at Brave CF 4: Unstoppable versus the Italian Daniele Scatizzi by unanimous decision, Al-Selawi, who holds a professional record of 9 wins with only 2 loses, has a special place in both his heart and his mind for his upcoming fight at Brave CF 9: The Kingdom of Champions.

Al-Selawi’s next fight will be a rematch against Carl Booth, the opponent who handed him his first professional defeat in only his 2nd mixed martial arts fight back in 2014.

We talked to an excited Al-Selawi about his upcoming rematch, and here is the first thing that he had to say about it.

Al-Selawi:

“I’ve been waiting for this fight for a long time. It’s been 3 and a half years, but now, the time is finally here for me to get my shot. I cannot wait till fight time!”.

Al-Selawi made sure to stress the point that his preparation is on an entirely different level for this fight. He seemed certain that the outcome of this fight will be different as a direct result to his new approach to training (Of course, he didn’t share much detail to keep it a little secret).

Al-Selawi:

“I am in Thailand right now and my preparation is going really well. I have a different approach to the fight this time around. It’s going to be a good fight and I can’t wait to do it, but as I said, it’s going to be very different that’s for sure”.

Now, having his 3rd straight fight under Brave Combat Federation, Al-Selawi some positive things to say about the Bahraini based international mixed martial arts promotion that has become world class in such a short period of time.

Al-Selawi: “

This is my 3rd fight in Brave CF. I have had two previous fights in Brave that I have won thank God. I am very happy to be fighting under Brave CF. It is an excellent promotion that is achieving a lot in just a small period of time. Hopefully, I’ll continue to experience more success with it.”

Finally, Al-Selawi shared his thoughts about what the fans should expect to see in his next fight, and it is nothing less than dynamic.

Al-Selawi:

“This fight will be awesome one. I know it’s a tough fight, but I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to get this rematch for a long time and now I finally have it. Honestly, I feel that this fight will be very different than any other fight that I have competed in and hopefully I’ll be the winner this time”.

The English Carl Both, who holds a professional record of 7 wins with 2 loses, is coming off a loss in his last bout at Brave CF: 8, where he was fighting for the welterweight title. “The Bomber” will be doing everything he can to make sure that history will repeat itself and put himself right back into the title mix. However, Al-Selawi is a different fighter today than he was a few years ago back in his 2nd professional mixed martial arts fight. With both these guys being primarily strong strikers, it’s not far-fetched for us to expect a high class stand up war, as well as an exciting fight finish at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions on the 11th of November in Bahrain.
