The fight card for UAE Warriors 42 has been unleashed, and it’s stacked with thrilling matchups. But what everyone’s talking about is the trilogy that’s set to explode in the main event. Get ready to witness some MMA action live from the iconic Etihad Arena. Fans from around the world can join in on the excitement thanks to the global broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.
The main event will see the UAEW Featherweight Championship be battled for in an unforgettable trilogy. Jordan’s Ali AlQaisi will defend the throne against his rival Jesse Arnett, from Canada.
These two first met in mid-2022 with “Big Cat” Arnett winning via cut. Because of the controversial stoppage an immediate rematch was organized.
Merely two months later, “The Royal Fighter” AlQaisi walked away with the world title having won via guillotine choke in the third round. Since then, the Jordanian athlete has added to his impressive record with another third-round guillotine choke against veteran MMA fighter Ahmed Faress.
In the final chapter of their trilogy, “The Royal Fighter” AlQaisi is looking to put his stamp on rivalry and finish Jesse Arnett when they meet at UAE Warriors 42 on May 20.
Additionally, the co-main event, a middleweight title fight, has fans talking. The Brazilian “Pará” Juscelino Ferreira is expected to have an unforgettable firefight against “The Prince” Amir Fazli, of Iran. Each man has the majority of their wins coming by way of KO/TKO.
Amir’s most notable finishes came against Mohamad Osseili and Ahmed Sami, who happen to be fighting each other at UAE Warriors 41 ( Arabia 11 ) on May 19.
UAE Warriors 42 will be the finale of a double header weekend for the promotion. On May 19 and 20 UAE Warriors will put on two fight cards back to back from the Etihad Arena.
