BRAVE Combat Federation is set to return to the Netherlands with a major Lightweight title fight at BRAVE CF 87 on September 22 in Alkmaar. Reigning Lightweight champion Abdisalam Kubanychbek will defend his title against Georgian two-division champion Raul Tutarauli. This event marks Kubanychbek’s first actual title defense, after his previous scheduled defense at BRAVE CF 77 turned into a non-title bout due to his opponent’s failure to make weight.
Kubanychbek, undefeated in BRAVE CF, has not lost a fight since 2017. He has earned victories over top contenders like Kamil Magomedov, Olzhas Eskaraev, Lucas Martins, Jahongir Saidjamolov, and Rolando Dy. Known as “The Boogeyman of BRAVE CF,” Kubanychbek has become a dominant force in the Lightweight division.
Raul Tutarauli, a two-division champion in the regional Featherweight and Lightweight divisions, aims to capture the BRAVE CF title. Tutarauli is new to BRAVE CF but has an impressive 5-1 record against BRAVE CF alumni, with notable wins over Marcel Grabinski, Valeriu Mircea, and Marcin Held. Ranked as the number one Lightweight in five regional Tapology rankings, Tutarauli presents one of the toughest challenges Kubanychbek has faced.
BRAVE CF 87, held in association with Enfusion’s ECE MMA, is the organization’s seventh event this year and the second in the Netherlands. BRAVE CF continues to expand its global presence, returning to the Netherlands as part of its 70-day world tour, covering six countries worldwide. This event solidifies BRAVE CF’s status as the most hosted MMA organization in the world and Europe.
