After confirming his weight drop to 77 KGs in Desert Force, the former Middle weight contender, who was a favorite to instantly compete for the vacant 84 KG championship, has now a different future ahead of him.
With Fakhredine’s undefeated record and consecutive victories over the likes of Tarek Suleiman and Thabet Agha, a match-up with “The Sniper” Mounir Lazzez is pretty much inevitable.
Since his debut at Desert Force, Lazzez has had two fights against very tough opponents Anas Siraj and Amr Wahman and managed to knock them both out with his, now trade-mark, devastating kicks.
Such a match-up is huge! Not only is it entertaining for the fans to see, but the winner is sure to get an instant title shot at the welterweight championship. Also, with the 77 KG title being on the line in a match up between Ghorabi and the champion Hajajy, will Fakhredine face his former team mate, Ghorabi, in case he becomes the newly crowned champion at 77 KG.
