The young and talented Saudi Abdul-Ahad Abdul Majid will be taking part in the upcoming Desert Force event in Bahrain. His performance against Ali Al Naemi surprised the public as Al Naimi was the more accomplished. Abdul-Ahad showed some good Muay Thai skills during his debut, accompanied by takedown defenses, shutting down the Qatari on multiple occasions. Seems like this decision win was good enough to earn him another fight under the Desert Force banner.
Rumor has it that his upcoming fight could be against Mhamad Mgharbel of Lebanon. Yet, nothing has been formally released by Desert Force officials:
Thank God I was successful in my first appearance in Desert Force against Al Naemi. It was not an easy fight but I came in ready! Now all my focus is on my upcoming opponent, my manager mentioned it’s Mhamad Mgharbel who has also fought in Desert Force a while back.
Desert Force champ Abdulkareem Al Selwady has recently revealed that he has visited Sport Tech Gym in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and trained there for a week with Abdul-Ahad as both fighters get ready for their upcoming fight. Abdulkareem and Abdul-Ahad are the two youngest fighters ever to appear in Desert Force! God Bless!
I was honored to received a visit from the Desert Force feather weight champ Abdel Selwady and his father. They came to KSA to visit Mecca and we managed to join forces in what was a very profitable reunion. I wish him luck in his upcoming fight.
