ALI MONFARADI vs. TALISON COSTA REMATCH
An explosive rematch is set to take place in the Main Card of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship’s second edition! Set to take place on January 19th, in Abu Dhabi, Ali Monfaradi and Talison Costa will be heavily motivated to conquer victory as they face each other in a Jiu-Jitsu match inside the ADXC cage.
With three rounds of three minutes each, the match comes as a rematch between the Bahraini Ali and Brazil’s Talison. Their last meeting happened in the ADWPJJC Master 1 division final, ending in a close decision. Ali emerged as the winner back then, taking the gold in the 77kg division, but Talison is ready to show the world that he has what it takes to beat his rival in the ADXC cage, bringing high-octane action to the organization’s ruleset.
One of the best Asian athletes on AJP’s roster, Ali Monfaradi reached the spotlight by climbing the podium in most of the tournaments that he took part in. With a strong half-guard game and fast transitions to take the back, Ali has all the right toolset to rise as the winner in the ADXC cage.

Talison The Gold Medal Hunter
Meanwhile, the gold medal hunter Talison Costa won most of the tournaments he fought in the last season. He’ll make his way to the Mubadala Arena hungry to add another win to his career. The Brazilian athlete reaches the battlefield confident that he’ll turn the tables on his rival and get some well-deserved payback in the clash. It is notable to mention that Talison Costa boasts an MMA record of 11-2 which makes the setting of the match, inside a cage certainly advantageous for him.
The bout between these two skillful black belts adds even more rivalry to the already stacked ADXC 2 card. In the Grappling Main Event, Aljamain Sterling faces Chase Hooper to close the second edition of the event with a highly-anticipated match between two MMA aces.
