Team Shogun’s 13th degree “Red Silver” Muay Thai coach Ali Makhzoum, a face most fight fans have seen in the Middle East MMA scene, has visited Alliance MMA as part of developing himself and refining his coaching.
Alliance MMA is a mixed martial arts training facility located in Chula Vista, California. The gym is home to Dominick Cruz, Phil Davis, Alexander Gustafsson, Joey Beltran, Jeremy Stevens, Miles Jury, and many other professional mixed martial artists who have found success in organizations such as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), Strikeforce and Bellator.
During his visit, Aly got the chance to train with Jhanex Alvis who is considered as one of the best MMA striking coach on the planet.
Coach Makhzoum also worked on bio mechanics with trainer and the founder of Functional Patterns Naudi Aguilar who’s commitment to his craft has made him one of the most sought after people in the field of fitness. Naudi had visited John Haddad from Level 8 this summer in Beirut , where he met Makhzoum and other Martial arts related icons.
