Arab Team Announced For Games of the Future

Kazan is set to host a high-tech, global MMA tournament, and eight teams overall will challenge each other. Every fighter after their bouts will then face off in the PSD download of Mortal Kombat. Winning in the cage and virtually garners points for the teams in this unique competition. For instance, a knockout win or quitting gives the player three points. Also, a win by split decision results in one point.

The Arab Team has been announced for this February 23rd Russian card under the Games of the Future banner. This collective is comprised of four fighters across four different weight categories.

Games of the Future

Ahmed Faress is riding a three-fight winning streak and the Egyptian is a featured fighter on the Arab Team here. ‘The Prince’ initially carved out his name on the Egyptian regional circuit and has fought for promotions like ONE Championship, Brave CF, and fought for 145 pound gold in UAE Warriors as well.

Hamza Kooheji is a featherweight fighter and the Bahraini bruiser looks to thrust himself into a two-fight winning streak. This comes on the heels of a unanimous decision win over Eduardo Mora at Brave CF 65 in October of 2022. The return to the cage after nearly a year and half away from action will be a curious one to follow as the 31-year-old enters the cage for his sixteenth pro MMA fight.

Rayan Atmani also is a key part of the team and represents Algeria here. He has largely competed at middleweight and welterweight but has fought as low as a 163-pound catchweight in his pro-MMA debut. The 30-year-old has a one hundred percent finishing rate as a professional mixed martial artist and all of those finishes transpired in the first round. Atmani has fought on circuits like Nightmare FC and Brace CF to name but a couple.

Finally, Sandra Gamal rounds out the Arab Team for this unique event melding the physical and the digital. The Egyptian combatant looks to continue on her experiences finding a place on the podium at the recent GAMMA MMA Worlds. ‘The Phoenix’ is also a kickboxing coach who sharpens her tools with the MMA Egypt National Team.
