France’s Arnold Quero has been pulled from his Brave Combat Federation debut, which was set to take place at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, on November 17th. The bantamweight was scheduled to face Brazil’s Felipe Efrain, but was forced out for undisclosed reasons.
Brave officials announced the move today and the promotion is in search of a replacement fighter to face Efrain. The Brazilian striker was looking to go 2-0 with Brave Combat Federation after knocking out UFC veteran Walel Watson on his promotional debut, back in March, at Brave 3: Battle in Brazil. Efrain trains out of Chute Boxe gym, with the likes of Brave title challenger Lucas Mineiro and MMA standouts Charles Oliveira and Thomas Almeida.
Quero was looking to make a successful debut at Brave but now the promotion is looking elsewhere for a replacement. Brave matchmakers are on the lookout, with 3 possible fighters on their radar. To face someone at Efrain’s level, regional names like George Bardawil, Ali Al Qaisi and Nawras Abzakh pop up in the Bantamweight division. Despite not competing under the promotion yet, any of these fighters can fill up this spot, save the fight and put on a good show in Bahrain.
