Brave 13: Europe Evolution delivered a night of exciting and unforgettable fights as 24 warriors left everything on the cage for Brave Combat Federation’s debut event in Europe. Led by Stephen Loman’s first title defense, in a win against Frans Mlambo, Cian Cowley, Chad Hanekom, Rodrigo Cavalheiro and Aidan James left the show with a bonus check for their performances.
Leading the way is Cian Cowley. The Irish Welterweight survived a knockdown by Daniel Olejniczak to knock his opponent out with a vicious knee from the clinch and follow-up shots on the ground. Watched on by his personal friend, MMA superstar Conor McGregor, “The Warrior” Cowley made his Brave debut in devastating fashion and guaranteed his first professional MMA win.
Another vicious knockout was delivered by Rodrigo Cavalheiro from Brazil. Welcoming Karl Amoussou into the cage, the Welterweight fighter connected with a hard kick to the body and followed up with a devastating left hook that knocked out the Frenchman. Another Knockout worthy of a prize was that of Aidan James, who made his Brave debut in the night’s opening bout and took care of business against Tommy Martin, with a great TKO victory.
Finally, the only submission included in the Performances of The Night was that of Chad Hanekom from South Africa. After dealing with two opponent changes in two weeks, the Middleweight fighter easily brushed aside a tough Dominic McConnell, using his wrestling and jiu-jitsu to take his adversary down, move to side control and lock in kimura hold for the win.
