Round 1: Round 1 here we go. Karaki rushes in and gets the takedown. Noureddin reverses but Karaki has a pretty tight triangle locked in. He tries to pick Karaki up and slam him but he cant shake Karaki off.
Noureddin breaks, stands and looks to work his way back into Karaki’s guard. Maybe not the best idea against a purple belt…
Noureddin works short elbows and strikes. Karaki tries to sweep and then goes for an arm triangle. He does get it but goes for the ar-triangle again. This one looks tight! He taps!

Next up is a lightweight matchup between Paul Alam and Abdulahad Gari. Paul Alam was last seen in Season 1 of Al Academia where he lost to the eventual winner Tareq Hamdi.
Abdulahad has defeated Ali Naemi by decision and Ibrahim Mgharbel by submission and makes his lightweight debut here. Muay Thai vs BJJ, always a fun combo

Congratz to Aziz w hard luck to Abed .. I am sure you will get the shield back home inshalla. Abed’s mistake he put Aziz in his head and took it personally… Abed was not focus at all.the moment before entering the cage and Abed did not look focused.
