Ahmed Makki Vs Abdulkader Souwane

Next up we have Ahmed Meki who fights out of Black House MMA in Los Angeles, where he trains alongside Mehdi Baghdad, Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva, take on the Algerian Abdulkader Souane. Souane was last seen on Desert Force Academia where he won his qualifying match against the season favourite Mohammad Ali. He was unable to continue however due to the injuries he sustained in that match to his hand and will be looking to make a strong come back here.

Out comes Souane to “Stan” by Eminem. The guy looks absolutely shredded.

Makki comes out draped in the Saudi flag and looks to really be enjoying his walkout. In his corner Kenneth Johnson.

Round 1: Here we go

They touch gloves. Makki works his double jab well to start. For bantamweights these guys throw big! Makki rushes in and has Souane against the cage. Makki’s jab is leaving its traces. Souane goes for the takedown but ends up in a guillotine choke attempt by Makki. This looks tight!!! How the hell is he hanging on! He breaks out of it and has Makki against the cage and unleashes punches! More wild than anything else but they are landing.

They break and re-start in the center of the cage. Kader goes for the takedown again but ends up in another guillotine choke attempt by Makki. Kader throws an overhand that Makki uses to go for the takedown. He cant quite get it and has Kader up against the cage. Makki gets Souanes back. 10 Seconds left in this one.

Round 2:

Makki works his jab/low kick combination well. Souane looking to explode whenever an opening presents itself.

A takedown attempt by Souane fails and Makki throws a big knee in there. Makki has Souane up against the cage and is laying his weight on him. Souane stumbles back and Makki rushes in with a kick that just glances the head of Souane! Makki now trying to take Souane’s back and he gets it! He sinks it in! That looks tight on the chin! Souane rolls out of it but Makki still has his back!

Makki goes for the RNC again but has it on the chin. 1 minute left in this one. Can Souane defend it. He does!!! Makki still on his back like glue! Another RNC attempt to end the round! Wooooooow!

Round 3: , here we go.

Makki two up to start this one. Makki rushes in but eats a big right for his efforts. Nice uppercut lands by Souane. Souane pushes Makki against the cage and bloodies him up with strikes. Souane cant get too aggressive here and end up on the ground. Head kick lands by Souane. Another jab by Souane lands and snaps Makki’s head back.

1 minute left in this one. Souane lands great strikes and a big knee in the clinch. Souane goes for the takedown and again doesnt succedd. 10 Seconds left in this one! Round 3 and its over
