MENA’s leading MMA promotion Desert Force is taking its ‘Desert Force 17 – Homecoming’ event, originally booked for May 18, and moving it to May 25 at the same location. After holding four consecutive epic events in UAE and Saudi Arabia, the promotion returns to Jordan for yet another sick lineup.

The event takes place in Al Hussein Boxing Arena in Jordan’s capital city, Amman.

Desert Force 17 has a pretty solid line up, featuring a featherweight championship headliner between Al Academiya Season 2 winner Ghaleb Al Harahshe and Bahrain’s Hamza Kooheji.

Jordan’s Jarrah Al Silway will face Syrian Tarek Suleiman after a submission victory over Mohammad Fakhreddine in his debut at Desert Force 15. Bouncing off this recent loss, Fakhreddine will also take part in Desert Force 17, facing Amr Wahman, who is one of the most active as well as one of the toughest fighters in both the Arab region and Desert promotion as well.

Also airing live is a fight between crowd favorite Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, one of the best featherweight fighters in the Desert Force promotion and the Arab region, and French opponent Lois Cadet in the opposite corner.
