LEBANON – Here’s a different kind of BEAST ready to dominate the light heavyweight division. After cracking open his opponents head in his promotional debut, Osama Saidy came back to submit Dib Akel in a dominant fashion early in the opening round.
The light heavyweight bout was part of the Desert Force 18 preliminary card, preceding the main fights that aired live on MBC Action. The event took place on the 17th of August at the Hikmeh Stadium in Ghazir, Lebanon.
Osama’s high level wrestling played a big role in this short fight. Saeidy manhandled Dib Akil with a fireman takedown before submitting him with a forward neck choke and proving himself as one of the toughest grapplers in his division.
This was Osama’s second win in Desert Force, proving himself as a powerhouse in all means. Unusual power backed up by some lethal wreslting skills betters his record to 2-0 under Desert Force promotion.
Dib losses his first fight outside europe and is now 2-1 as a professional.
