Khalid Ismail has recently announced to ArabsMMA that he will be joining Black House MMA for a training camp, the gym notable for being the training spot of several highly ranked MMA fighters, such as,Mehdi Baghdad, Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida and Glover Teixeira!

Khalid’s injuries and misfortune had kept him away from the cage for a long time. In April 2013, Khalid was forced to withdraw from his fight at UCMMA33 due a wrist fracture. The Desert Lion was then set to face Julien Kerr at UCMMA36 after witnessing 5 different fighters pulling out before the event. Almost two months prior to this fight, Ismail tore both ACL ligaments in both knees and tore both meniscus ligaments, yet never thought of pulling out. Khalid’s scheduled surgeries to repair the damage kept him on the shelf for the duration of 2014.

Khalid Ismail to ArabsMMA:

I’ve been invited to come over to train at Black House and I think this is a great opportunity for me to train with the best fighters in the world like Machida and Silva. If all goes well I can see my self splitting time between London and LA. Main goal now is to get back into the cage and keep pushing to fight at the highest level I can and I think Black House is definitely a step in the right direction.

Khalid looks readier than ever at this period in his life. Doing away with all the injuries, managing his gym LDG (Lions’ Den Gym) where he helped Roger Gracie for his UFC debut, and now the possibility of joining Black House MMA for a strong comeback in 2015. ArabsMMA community supports Moroccan Ismail and wishes him the best in his next fights. All MMA Fans should check out this man, excitement at its best!
